A full range of services is available at the surgery. The following is a list of some of the services offered:

GP Services

  • Blood tests
  • Ear Syringing
  • Venesection for haemochromatosis
  • Joint Injections and management of muscular injuries
  • Diabetes-testing and management
  • Blood pressure including 24 hour blood monitoring
  • Asthma and COPD-Spirometry to measure lung function, Nebuliser treatment
  • Roaccutane prescription and acne management.

Sexually transmitted diseases

  • Confidential and discreet screening for sexually transmitted diseases is provided in a relaxed environment. Full examination with swabs for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea are taken, followed by blood tests for HIV, Hepatitis B and C and syphilis. Follow up, treatment and referral if necessary is included. PREP prescription and monitoring

Women's Health and Family Planning

  • All contraceptive methods offered including implanon, Mirena, Jaydess, kyleena, copper coil and ballerine.
  • Cervical smear screening programme
  • Antenatal care
  • Menopause issues

Vaccinations

  • Childhood Vaccines

Mental Health

  • One in four people struggle with mental health issues in their life. If you have any concerns please come into surgery to discuss them and you will be treated with understanding and offered support. There is lots of help available and you are not on your own.
